  Finding yourself in a huge and empty room, in an architectural space which mutely evokes a past grandeur, you begin to imagine....
  Then, one day you find yourself taking photographs, attempting to recall the magic of Fred Astaire's dancing in those early black and white movies. Or those small figurines in the pink, marbled jewellery box, that twirled around and around.
  Yet what transpired were images subverting notions of intimacy and expectations of space and scale.
  These photographs were taken just before the Royal College of Art Photography Department moved into what was once the Hungarian Embassy on Queensgate, in 1977).
   
   
  Verdi Yahooda is an artist, who uses Photography as her main medium.
